I have been playing acoustic, electric and classical guitar for 17 years and bass guitar for 10 years. After graduating from The University of Hull with a first class honours degree in (BA) Popular Music I played lead guitar in the pop band Chasing Deer and bass guitar in the indie/folk band Laurence Wood Trio before setting up as a solo acoustic act.  

 

I am able to plan a programme of study tailored to the individual's needs. I teach a range of guitar styles, as well as theory, sight reading and songwriting. I would describe my approach as patient, encouraging and student centred.

I travel to your home for lessons (distance up to 5 miles) and charge £30 per hour.
